Waterfront Park

Irregardless of your political views, you have to admit that the presidential primaries have been a rather captivating series of events. Holly and I went down to the Waterfront Park this afternoon to watch Barack Obama speak to a crowd of approximately 75,000 people. Here are some photos from the event:

wow! These are great! It's too funny, or maybe a bit sad, but I only knew Obama was coming to Portland from your post! Can you tell I've been slightly out of the loop?

These are great images - and it was a fantastic show from Obama. But...irregardless is not a word. :(

Thanks for the feedback. My strength lies in images rather than words, but nonetheless, the word irregardless appears to have originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Googling this word provides some very interesting history on the use of the word.
