Lynne & Matt - August 1, 2008

As you may recall from an earlier blog post, Lynne and Matt waited in line at the Portland Building on New Years Eve to reserve the Shakespeare Garden for their wedding. Their advance planning really paid off and resulted in a beautiful wedding at a wonderful location. The setting was a perfect match for Lynne and Matt.

While it is very common for most couples to schedule their formals session prior to the wedding ceremony, Lynne and Matt wanted to stick with the tradition of not seeing each other until the actual ceremony time. The build up and excitement leading up to the ceremony was tremendous and when Lynne rounded the corner to enter the Shakespeare Garden, the look on Matt's face was absolutely priceless (check it out below).

Holly and I spent some time with the couple walking throughout the Portland Rose Garden to capture some very memorable photos of the newlywed couple. We then headed over to the Hotel deLuxe for the reception. The room was filled with close friends and family who made a point to clink their glasses on numerous occasions throughout the evening to observe the couple celebrate their love with a kiss. It was such a pleasure having the opportunity to photograph Lynne and Matt's wedding and we look forward to meeting up with the couple soon to discuss their wedding album design.
