Favorites of 2007

As we enter into the final weeks of 2007, I find myself reflecting upon the years’ events – a year that has been fruitful to Holly and I both personally and professionally. We feel very fortunate to have photographed so many weddings this year and to have met so many amazing couples. Imagine your workday being a day in which you observe two people who are incredibly in love with each other, share their love for each other amongst all the people they love the most. It is the most incredible experience.

We are very excited with the work we produced this year and wanted to share some of our personal favorites. Although I have not taken an exact count, I know that we shot somewhere around 75,000 wedding pictures this year. So, narrowing it down to our personal favorites is no easy task. Debbie & Jeremy - December 15, 2007

Holly and I wrapped up our 2007 wedding season this past weekend with Debbie and Jeremy's wedding at the Laurelhurst Club. We had such a wonderful time! Since we are approaching the holidays, I wanted to quickly post some images from the evening. Debbie admits to being a frequent visitor to our blog (thanks Debbie), so I wanted to post some images right away. Enjoy!

Kate & Dan - Engagement Session

Kate and Dan flew in from Ohio this past week to spend some time with family and to work on the preparations for their wedding on August 17, 2008. We have been emailing each other back and forth to solidify details and it was great to finally have the opportunity to meet in person. Kate and Dan asked to have their engagement session while they were in town so that they could use their photos for save the date cards. Although the photos don't show it, it was quite cold outside when we shot on Saturday. So, in between takes, we had Kate and Dan throw on their jackets to keep warm. Lindsay & Josh - November 3, 2007

We really lucked out for Lindsay and Josh's wedding on 11/3/07 -- the weather was absolutely perfect. We scheduled the day in such a way as to have nearly 30 minutes to spend with just the bride and groom to take pictures. We wandered throughout the Hoyt Arboretum area and took an array of pictures. Holly and I had a wonderful time at the wedding and wanted to share some of our favorites from the day.
